- 5/3: Student Prayer Walk
- 5/5: SkyZone Trampoline Park: 9:30am
- 5/5: Cinco de Mayo Mom’s Night Out- 6pm
- 5/8: Silent Auction - Our annual fundraiser from 5:30-6:15 in the lobby next to Rm 101. Baskets to bid on for great prizes.
- 5/8: Spring Play 6:30pm -K-2 and 3-6 will perform two plays. Please bring costumes Monday, May 1st.
- 5/15: Muffins with Mom- Please join your student for muffins and a picture.
- 5/22: Promotion & Graduation 9-11am- K, 6th, and 8th grade will graduate and all other classes will be promoted to the next grade level. All are welcome to attend!
- 5/22: End of the year class party: Directly after promotion/graduation. Each student will receive a superlative award and sign yearbooks.
- 5/24: Summer Kick-Off Beach Bash 10am-2pm- CCH provides BBQ, you bring a side and we celebrate the year. Paddle boards and kayaks welcomed.

Merry Christmas homeschool families!
There’s an excitement in the air this month as we celebrate our Savior’s birth! We have our Christmas play, Christmas events, and parties coming up before our long break!

Great Wolf Lodge- December 8 & 9th

Journey to Bethlehem- December 10th
You won’t want to miss this living nativity experience. Complete with angels, the nativity, camel rides, petting zoo, Roman guards, etc. You’ll experience what it was like the night Christ was born. Free Christmas dress on December 21
Students are encouraged to dress in Christmas attire. Christmas dresses, sweaters, accessories, etc. Please adhere to the free dress guidelines and have fun with it!
Reminders:
Please have your child wear athletic shoes on Mondays as they will participate in their PE class.
Please have your girls wear bike shorts under their skirts and please make sure skirts are no shorter then 5 inches above the knee.
Please no leggings as pants. They must have a pockets and button/zipper.
Although it's getting colder, please make sure your child is wearing a CCH sweatshirt or a completely plain black, blue, white, or grey sweatshirt. They cannot have logos on them. These are the only acceptable colors and they cannot have logos on them.
Snow hats are acceptable, however keep to the school colors.
If it's really cold and your child needs to bring a snow jacket, any colors are acceptable.

Christmas Play & Rehearsals
- Christmas Play for K-8 is December 19th at 7pm
- In December, most of the rehearsals will fall within school hours, but please check the calendar and the Christmas Play Choir Schedule for specific dates and times. Christmas Rehearsal Schedule
- All cast and solos should have their lines memorized for every rehearsal.

CCH NEWS FOR november 2022-2023
Blessings wonderful homeschool families!
The most wonderful time of the year is fastly approaching. We have our parent conferences, parties, feasts, field trips, and Christmas play coming up soon!
Parent Conferences
Parent Conferences are next week! We can’t wait for you to sit down with your teacher and set goals for your student. Please click the parent conference schedule link your teachers have either posted on their blog or emailed and sign up for a time.
We will provide childcare ONLY for students that are not in rehearsal and have a conference scheduled that day. Please see EVENTS for more details.
Christmas Play Rehearsal
We also have Christmas play rehearsals over our parent conference days.
Please pick up your student directly from their classroom at 12:00pm, UNLESS you have a conference or Christmas play rehearsal that day. We are providing childcare for K-6th, but are only able to provide childcare for students in the homeschool program who have a conference that same day. Please have your students pack a lunch to eat after school. Please pick up your child(ren) at one of our playgrounds directly after your last conference. There is also a parent meeting after each rehearsal. Please attend one.

Operation Christmas Child
We will be introducing the Operation Christmas Child service project to the students in chapel, the first week of November. Boxes will be due November 16th.
Thanksgiving Feast- November 16th 12:30-2:30pm
You’re invited to our annual Thanksgiving Feast. The entire homeschool K-8th grade comes together to share a feast and thank God for all the blessings He has bestowed upon us. Students will be dismissed for a minimum day at 12:00pm and the feast starts at 12:30pm at Ridgecrest Park. Students are encouraged to dress up as Pilgrims or Indians or may wear Thanksgiving colors to school that day. All family members are welcome to attend.

Safety Drills
In order to prepare our students in case of an emergency, we will be conducting several drills over the next couple months. We will take time to practice a fire, earthquake, and lockdown drill. Please contact your teacher if you’d like to know more information.
Mom’s Night Out- AR Workshop
This is a wonderful event to get out of the house and relax. You’ll bring home beautiful decor for your home. Please register to choose your project before the event. Here’s the link to register and pay.

CCH News for October 2022-2023
Blessings wonderful homeschool families!
I pray you are having a wonderful start to the year. We had an eventful September with starting our speciality classes, Bible study, auditions, and our first field trip!
You should have received an email of your school pictures. If you have not, please email [email protected]. The make-up pictures are this Monday.
Just a friendly reminder, once school is dismissed, we are delighted to have you stay as your children play on the playground, however please adhere to the school playground rules. We want to keep our students safe and it helps them follow the rules on the on-campus days.
The K-4 playground rules are as follows:
- Students are to walk up steps and slide down while sitting down only. No climbing up the slide.
- Do not jump off the top of the slide or playground equipment.
- Only one child is permitted on the slide at a time. The second child goes up when the first child slides down.
- No roughhousing, running or inappropriate play will be permitted.
- No climbing on the fence or bars next to the outside.

CCH NEws for August-September 2022-23
Blessings wonderful homeschool families!
I pray you have been enjoying your summer. We are praying for your children and asking the Lord to continue to bless our Community Christian Homeschool family as He has been so faithful.
As always, we have diligently been seeking the Lord while praying about what our school theme will be and what wonderful things the Lord has planned for us this next year. Our CCH theme is “Trust in the Lord” and it comes from the Bible verse Proverbs 3:5-6.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV
We fully believe that God has given us immeasurably more and now it is time to trust Him for what’s next to come. We know the Father has our best interest in mind and we are excited to trust Him with even more in the future.
The teachers and I have been diligently preparing for students to return. You should be receiving some communication directly from your teacher in the next few weeks. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION very carefully as it lists mandatory meetings and events you’ll want to attend.

We have our Family Beach Day, Mandatory Back to School Class Meetings, and Meet & Greet the Teachers coming up. They are listed in order by date, so you may have to scroll down the page to see the most recent date. You may also refer to the CCH Calendar for an overview. Please save the dates for these events and remember the password to access FAMILIES, which includes these links, is Eph3:20. Please don’t share with anyone outside of CCH.
